I seem to have been able to post more illustrations of my characters produced by other talented artists this year than actual pieces of prose that I came up with myself. And, while flattering, this serves to underline how little I have managed to complete in the space of the past few months when it comes to my writing.
I have a good number of ideas and a few pieces under way, but with a day job, a family and several other projects in my spare time that are proving to be both demanding in terms of hours and draining when it comes to energy, some of them will remain in limbo for a good while to come. Not something that I'm happy with, but the reality of the situation.
So you'll have to bear with me!
In the meantime, I'm checking in here on an almost daily basis, as usual. So if there's anything that you want to ask, share or discuss, then I always welcome the chance to chat, and it makes me feel a little more human when I do.
Here's a teaser for the story that I'm working on at the moment - think a TV show where a guy with a massive beard pimps cars colliding with Nip & Tuck?
- Listening to: Return to Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield

agree with everyone who has commented before, u r worth the wait my friend. And besides, re-reading your previous works is always an option anyway... your work is that good that e-reading your work is like discovering something new all over again...
You are worth the waiting for. If you ever get stuck, feel free to approach me--writer to deliberately-obscured writer.
It's never the inspiration or the will to write that's lacking, always the time required to actually sit down and do it!
The important thing is that you are still here and, hopefully, writing everything you can down even if you don't get the chance to finish everything right now.
