It was a nice and hot summer day, even inside was brutal. Seemed like there was no better option than to swim in the pool. Briana was quite happy she had one too. She quickly got changed into a bikini and applied sun screen before heading up to the deck of the pool. She was a bit surprised to see a pile of inflated pool toys to the side of the pool, they weren't hers but she let the neighborhood kids come and play in it. She just assumed one of the larger families were playing in it earlier. She didn't mind so long as they didn't leave a mess aside the pool toys. It was the sunniest day that Gauge could even remember, the heat coming down on her like it was being focused through a magnifying glass. Confident that if she sat around all day all that would come of it would be roasting herself alive, She had reluctantly packed her bags and dragged herself towards the town pool, a building who's crowds she would usually avoid like the plague. Still, now that she was here she had to admit that the place was a lot quieter then she had first thought. In fact, nobody was around at all! It had taken enough willpower to enter the building- nobody being around to even take Gauges money for admission, making her question whether the pool was even currently open. But the door opened up without a sign saying otherwise in sight, so she made her way to the changing room while ignoring the silence, wondering if perhaps everyone was just in the pool and the building had some sort of noise cancelling... Unlikely, but one of a precious few theories as to why one

Amanda and Elizabeth were getting ready for the big pool party happening over at Emily’s house. Both were decked out in matching red and blue bathing suits and were outside of Elizabeth’s house with Josh, who had offered to drive them over.
“So I know Emily said that we didn’t need to bring anything, but we should really bring something to play with just incase” Amanda said over to Elizabeth. “He Liz, would you happen to have anything in your garage?”
“I dunno, maybe we should check”

Everyone hates to sit through the safety video when they take a holiday, being told the same boring things over and again whilst thinking that the supposed dangers are nothing more than an effort to suck the fun out of the whole thing.
Travel by teleportation is no different, as even though it means almost instantaneous arrival at the destination of your choice, there's still a tedious safety video that must be endured, droning on about the need to take a gentle rest and relax whilst the old molecules calm themselves down.
Hannah, Skye and Bryony certainly had no time for anything like that, as they were determined to enjoy every second of their holiday, from the first to the last.
Where could there be any harm in that?

I was hoping that another family of people would come out and see them and play with them as inflatable pool toys against their wishes. Kids kicking around the pool holding onto the floating dolphin, Dad lying on the floating mermaid floating in the pool drinking a fruity island cocktail, and the kids bouncing the beachball girl back and forth.
