While the phrase "There's no such thing as a free lunch" might be old and tired enough to be a fossilised cliché, the basic principle is still as sound today as when it was first coined, and if something sounds too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Abigail perhaps should have read the small-print better before she and her friend Kerry jetted off to a tropical oasis on the understanding that everything was free until they either accepted the offer of a job for the summer season or got back on the plane home.

But when Kerry fails to return to their hotel room one night, Abigail is shocked to find out that her friend has rather hastily said yes to an unexpected role on the island resort, one that she too will be offered soon afterwards.

Will Abigail join her friend, or abandon her to a life that is somewhat more fishy than either of them could have imagined?
